Lori Michael graduated cum laude from Harvard College in 1987, with a degree in Literary, Dramatic, and Musical Expression.  Writing prose and lyrics has always been her forte, whether she was writing children's songs, folk rock for adults, promotional copy for singer Jim Scott, stories, or ad copy for her children's performing business, Lori's Stories.  Lori's custom songs for kids have been delighting children since Lori's Stories was founded in 1993.  Now Lori brings her passion for words, communication, and creating connections to the Word Wizards.  Lori has the listening ability to grok your vision for your business or project, as well as the talent and commitment to help you express your vision to your clients.

Sam Schneider is 5 years old, going on 25.  He coined the word "jazzled" when Lori's eye shadow got shaken loose in the make-up case one day.  "Hey Mom," said Sam, "your eye shadow is all jazzled."  In addition to taking joy and delight in words, plays on words, rhymes, and all manner of silliness, Sam possesses a meticulous approach to language.  While looking over Lori's shoulder as she edited the script of the Lori's Stories show, Sam pointed out, "Mom, you need to put an 's' in 'persnickety.'"  Lori wasn't sure which was funnier, leaving out the "s" in "persnickety," or being corrected by her 5-year-old business partner.  Sam has been a lead performer in Lori's Stories since the age of 3, performing at day care centers, libraries and (his personal favorite) birthday parties.  Sam specializes in writing for clients who sell trains, robots, toys, children's books, and anything related to the animal kingdom.  His rates are competitive, and he is happy to be paid in cake, game tokens, or toy trains.
